Most fresh flowers smell wonderful. The scent of fresh flowers is a very welcoming scent for all of your guests to enjoy as they walk in to either your ceremony or reception. This is only good news to the brides who do not want to keep their bouquets. If you use fresh flowers they will not last so you will not be able to keep your bouquets, unless you preserve them which can be very costly.

Lukewarm water should be used as it contains less oxygen than cold water which reduces the amount of air bubbles likely to form in the stem's system. Distilled water is the best water to use. Use cold water for bulb flowers such as hyacinths, tulips, and daffodils. Add flower food to the water. Do not use metal containers as they reduce the effect of flower food. The stems should extend half way down the vase. As well, your vase should not contain any residue which can be a haven for bacteria that can cause flowers to wilt.

2. Flowers stay fresh in the light and at temperatures of 65-72F. Warm temperatures cause flowers to deteriorate faster so they keep them in a cooler room and out of direct sunlight. As well, keep them away from any appliance that gives of heat. Make sure you keep the flowers away from open drafts such as open windows.

3. Keep cut flowers away from fruit. Fruit releases ethylene gas that causes flowers to age quicker.

4. Daffodils should be placed in their own vase because the stems of these flowers give off a substance that is toxic to other flowers. Keep flowers out of direct sunlight

5. You should spray the flowers with a mild mist of water daily and remove any dying flowers and dried up leaves. Flower food contains a biocide which helps inhibits bacteria growth. The food can be purchased at local florists and nurseries. If you do not have a plant food packet, add a little sugar to water.

6. Take care of the flowers every day. Remove wilted flowers. Rotting flowers and leaves can make the water toxic to flowers. Change the water every 2 days. Make sure you add a preservative each time you change the water. You can also re-cut the stem for better water absorption. The lower the temperature of the room, the longer the flowers will last. It is important to be aware that flowers in temperatures below four degrees will diminish faster.

Ancient Ikebana Meets the Modern Silk Flower

It is said that the practice of flower arranging was originally used in Japan to pay tribute to the gods, and the floral arrangements were therefore considered sacred. In Japan, historical records documenting the appearance of traditional flower arrangements date back to about 500 years ago. It was in the seventeenth century that followers of this new form of artistic expression started creating the rules leading to the formation of what would eventually become the disciplinary art that is now known as Ikebana. The diversity of forms and methods that were developed over time made Ikebana a much more sophisticated form of art. In the end, Ikebana has become a discipline where the stage for the artistic expression is set by the harmony achieved through the combination of natural materials (flowers, stems and branches), the container, and the lines and forms that characterize the art of Japanese flower arrangement.

Western style arrangements typically consist of a free form assemblage of flowers in a container. In contrast, Ikebana is more of a disciplined form of art, governed by well-defined rules, principles and techniques. For example, certain precepts regulate elements like the light and the shadows. There is also what is known as the three points of balance - shin-fuku-tai in Japanese - which symbolize man, heaven and earth, respectively, and that have to be in harmonious equilibrium in order to give true life to an Ikebana flower arrangement. This and the fact that stems and branches are used in addition to flowers, are perhaps the most obvious differences with western-style flower arrangement.

I have noticed that western style gardens - such as those seen in big castles, for example - characterize themselves by man-made forms that generally follow symmetric patterns. In contrast, Japanese gardens, while also man-made, always try to recreate lifelike landscapes, by using not only botanical elements but also water, gravel, rocks and other natural components. In a similar manner, when compared to western floral arrangements, Ikebana compositions also have a stronger emphasis in reproducing natural settings.

Ikebana flower designs tend to be minimalistic; the key to achieving their distinguished beauty is not in any particular single component, but rather the balance between all of them. The key is finding a harmonic balance between all the elements of expression (the container and the flowers, stalks and leaves), their characteristics (such as color, texture, form and the season they represent) and the space where the flower arrangement is expected to be used.

My Personal Journey to the Way of the Flower

I am a native of Shikoku, the smallest and less populated of the four main islands that comprise the Japanese archipelago. I was born and raised in what was then known as Iyomishima, a small town located between a backdrop of beautiful mountains and the Seto Inland Sea, the waters that separate Shikoku from Honshu, the main island of Japan. Without a doubt, the rich natural settings that I enjoyed at my birthplace throughout my childhood and youth, had a profound effect in how my sensitivities for nature and art developed over time, and to this date.

My parents house was a traditional home that had the typical Japanese garden in the back with various different trees, plants and many seasonal flowers. I grew up playing around our Japanese black pine, Japanese plum, loquat (Eriobotrya japonica) and pomegranate trees, all the while enjoying the azaleas, camellias and many other flowers that my father nurtured with so much love and dedication. I also remember that we had flowers that were originally introduced in Japan from foreign countries, such as Amaryllis (Belladonna Lily), roses, daisies, and dahlias. So while our garden was very Japanese in style, I can now see how it was more like a display of universal nature.

My love for nature, and particularly flowers, manifested itself from an early age. When I was in elementary school, I remember frequently picking up flowers from our garden in the morning, wrapping them in a newspaper and taking them to school, where I would use them to decorate our classroom. This was something that I did spontaneously, and it gave me so much joy!

When I learned Ikebana as an adult, I was really fortunate to have had an old-fashioned sensei (instructor) who not only taught me the theory and techniques, but also immersed me in the respectable manners and ways of the good old days. It is through my sensei that I learned that Ikebana goes beyond the typical art form, and that it is more of a way of life; in fact, Ikebana is also known as kado, which literally means "the way of the flower."

It was much later in my life that I came to the United States. Being fond of arts and crafts, I soon made my way to many specialty stores, where I discovered, with great amazement, the quality and variety of silk flowers. There were so many and they looked so lifelike! I also noticed that many people here used silk flower arrangements to decorate their living and working spaces. At first, the notion of using silk flowers instead of real ones was odd to me and I resisted it. But that changed after seeing the quality and vividness of silk flowers, and realizing the practicality of long-lasting, low maintenance flower arrangements. This lead me to the idea of using silk flowers to create Ikebana-inspired flower arrangements.

Faithful to the Ikebana principles of minimalism, I compose my floral designs with few flowers. The reasoning behind minimalism is based on the fact that leaves and stems are better suited to express the three points (man, heaven and earth) that govern an Ikebana composition. Depending on the place where the arrangement will be used and the season, I may use a single gorgeous flower, which can be very effective in creating a pleasant aesthetic impression. But the focus of my arrangements is to recreate nature. So, as a rule of thumb, I tend to keep my compositions rather simple. As in Ikebana, simplicity and minimalism are at the heart of my designs.

The utmost importance in an arrangement is the overall harmony and balance. It is possible to combine two or more flowers in one floral design, but in this case choosing flowers that are compatible with each other is of utmost importance. In other words, the key to a well-balanced arrangement is to choose flowers that can strengthen the beauty of each other. What's important to getting the most out of the components of an arrangement is the harmony between the floral material and the container, as well as the overall balance. No matter how beautiful a flower may be on its own, if it does not harmonize with the rest of the material, the balance is lost and the beauty of the flower is wasted.

Etymologically, the origins of the name Ikebana comes from two Japanese words: ikeru, which means to give or conserve life, and hana, which translates as flower. There is an old Japanese saying relating to Japanese flower arrangement that goes kokoro wo ikeru, which literally means to give life to your heart. In all cultures, nature has always been an essential source for healing of the soul. In Japan, the use of flowers to enrich the spirit has been part of the culture since ancient times. By extension, Ikebana is also considered a form of artistic expression meant to enrich and heal the spirit.

My arrangements cross-pollinate the oriental essence that I learned through the art of Ikebana with the practicality that modern technology offers us in the form of lifelike silk flowers. So while I take strong inspiration in the principles of harmony, methods and the spirit of Ikebana for all my designs, it is the ample diversity of silk flowers that allows me to unleash my creativity in ways that I never thought were possible. Sort of a bridge between east and west, or the best of both worlds, if you will.

Flowers are one type of plant that is loved by almost all people. They make wonderful home decor as well eye-catching adornments to the outside of the home. To make flowers even more pleasing to the eye, many people choose to arrange them in beautiful and unique ways. Arranging flowers is not a difficult task to learn. All that you need is a little imagination and creativity.

The following is a list of tips and tricks to arranging flowers:

1. When arranging flowers choose the colors that you find appealing. Colors that display joyfulness and vibrancy include bright colors such as red, yellow, and blue. If you are looking for an arrangement that reflects a season such as Fall, use orange, brown and a dark deep red.

2. There are different types of flowers you can work with. You can use fresh flowers, dry flowers or artificial flowers. For the type of flower you choose, you will need floral foam. Green water-retaining foam is used for fresh flowers and flora. Brown foam is used for dried or artificial flowers. For fresh flowers, soak the foam in warm water with plant food. For dry and artificial flowers, you do not soak the foam. You just have to add glue to the foam to make sure they stick to the container that they are placed in.

3. Once you have placed the foam in the container and it is secure, place short pieces of bushy greenery along the base to cover the sponge. For dry flowers, you can use floral tape to cover the foam and lay heavy flowers along the base. For traditional arrangements, always cut your floral foam about 1" higher than the rim of the container. This will allow plants to be arranged naturally.

4. When arranging, use the largest and heaviest flowers along the base. Arrange one flower at a time. Shorten the stems as necessary. Arrange them like a pyramid or ball shape. Make sure the shape is smooth and edges even. The flowers should face outwards and at an appropriate angle. Use a knife to slant and shape the stems. A sharp edge knife is needed to make a sharp smooth cut that will permit water to enter the flower stems. Do not bunch the flowers. Fill in extra holes with some long greens. Make sure the greens don't clump together. Smaller blooms can be grouped to make a unique appearance. Group flowers freely by arranging them close to each other.

5. It is important to remember that some flowers dry up before others, so if you want the arrangement to last a long time, pick flowers that last long. Some flowers that last a long time are carnations and roses. The fresh flowers should be watered every few days, Flowers such as Baby's Breath make the entire display more stylish and striking. If some of the flowers die earlier then the others you can remove and replace them with some other fresh flowers. Scented flowers can be overwhelming in small confined areas. The dried and artificial flower arrangement should last.

You might be surprised to know that when you give a bouquet of flowers to a Chinese person, she may pick up on a hidden meaning - whether you intend it or not.

The type of flower and the number of flowers in the arrangement have special significance in Chinese culture. Your gift of flowers says more than just "I love you." Other meanings include:"I'm sorry," or "Will you marry me?"

...So choose carefully!

And keep in mind that while many people know the special meaning, not everyone in China does. And to top it off, some Chinese people may attach a different, alternate meaning than what appears below. There is not one universally recognized meaning for each number.

So how can you play it safe? How do you make sure she gets your true intention? Easy! Just write your meaning onto the card that goes with the flowers. That way, she'll understand your message and it will match the number of flowers in the bouquet.

Before you read the examples below, keep in mind that the English phrases are sometimes clumsy or awkward sounding. Why? It's because the Chinese words are very poetic and often contains multiple sub-meanings, puns and rhythms which don't translate into English.

Chinese flower number meanings:

    * 1 flower: I love only you. You, and only you, are in my heart.
    * 2 flowers: In my mind, I just think of you and me.
    * 3 flowers: I love you.
    * 4 flowers: Promise of love.
    * 5 flowers: No regrets with you.

    * 30 flowers: Our love goes beyond words.
    * 33 flowers: I will always love you...for many years, and for very long.
    * 36 flowers:My heart belongs to you.
    * 44 flowers: I promise my steady love for you.
    * 50 flowers: No regrets.
    * 55 flowers:I love you with no regrets.
    * 56 flowers: My love.
    * 60 flowers: Our love is very steady, strong and stable.

Again, make sure you write your intended meaning onto the card that goes with the bouquet. There's a big difference between 18 flowers (Sincere Heart) and 17 flowers (Happy ending, leaving each other on good terms.) Make your meaning clear.

Famous Flowers of the Canadian Provinces

Canada is renowned the world over for it's impressive variety of wildflowers and habitats. The sheer variety of flowers found in Canada is partially due to the vast expanse of land and the extreme variations in climate and habitat found across the country. At some point in their esteemed history, each province or territory in Canada has adopted an official flower to represent and symbolize their region. That being said, the official flowers for each province or territory are not necessarily unique to that particular area.

Alberta first selected their official flower back in the 1930's. The Wild Rose (rosa acicularis) was selected to be the official provincial flower by a group of school children. The Wild Rose is a large, pink, fragrant flower that grows predominantly on rocky mountainous slopes. The Wild Rose, however, can be found in various areas of Canada.

British Columbia designated the Pacific Dogwood as their provincial flower in 1956. The Pacific Dogwood, or cornus nuttallii, produces clustered cream coloured flowers which bloom in the spring and produce bright red berries in the fall. It's worth noting that the Pacific Dogwood is a protected species in Canada.

Manitoba also allowed school children to select their provincial flower. In 1906, the Prairie Crocus was selected to represent the province of Manitoba. The Prairie Crocus, or anemone patens, is lavender-coloured and blooms in the early spring; often before all of the snow has melted.

New Brunswick deemed the Purple Violet their provincial flower in 1936, at the request of the provincial Women's Institute. The Purple Violet, or viola cucullata, is a stemless flower that starts to bloom in May and continues throughout the summer months.

Newfoundland / Labrador adopted the Pitcher Plant as their official provincial flower in 1954. The Pitcher Plant, or sarracenia purpurea, has a large wine-red flower with a red and gold centre. It grows primarily in marshland and bogs, and was shown on the Newfoundland penny coin in the 1880's. It is worth noting that the purple Pitcher Plant is the only member of the genus to inhabit a cold temperature climate.

Nova Scotia's official provincial flower is the Trailing Arbutus, which is commonly known as the Mayflower. It was made official in 1901, and it's pale pink and white blossoms flourish in the springtime months from March until May. The Mayflower, or epigaea repens, is a spreading shrub from the Ericaceae family and is known for it's lovely fragrance.

Ontario selected the White Trillium as it's official flower in 1937. It is generally found in deciduous forests and woodlands, and is easily recognizable by it's while, three-petalled flowers. The White Trillium, or trillium grandiflorum, is a protected species in Ontario provincial parks.

In 1947, Prince Edward Island adopted a member of the Orchid family as it's provincial flower. The Lady's Slipper, or cypripedium acaule, flowers in late May and is commonly found in moist, shady woodlands. It is easily recognized by it's lovely pink flowers, and is characterized by it's slipper-shaped pouches.

The predominantly French-speaking province of Quebec chose the Madonna Lily as their provincial flower. It was initially chosen due to it's likeness to the Fleur-de-Lis on the provincial flag. Ironically, this flower is not native to Quebec. In 1999, the provincial flower of Quebec was changed to the Blue Flag Iris. It is commonly found in marshes, meadows and along stream banks throughout the province.

Saskatchewan selected the Western Red Lily, or lullium philadelphicum, as their official flower in 1941. A protected species that grows in semi-wooded areas and meadows, the Red Western Lily produces distinctive orange and red blossoms in the summer months of June to August. It is also featured on the provincial flag of Saskatchewan.

The Northwest Territories provincial flower is the Mountain Avens; otherwise known as dryas integrifolia. It was selected in 1957. It produces small, white flowers and is quite common in the northern tundra of the NWT. It flowers in the springtime, and grows in barren, rocky areas in full view of the sun.

The territory of Nanavut chose the Purple Saxifraga as their flower in the year 2000. Otherwise known as saxifrage oppositifolia, it is easily recognized by it's bright purple star shaped flowers which appear shortly after the snow disappears for the season.

The Yukon Territory selected the Fireweed as their floral emblem in 1957. The Fireweed, or epilobium angustifolium, produces small clusters of dark pink flowers. On average, the stems on these flowers range from three to seven feet tall. Their peak season ranges from July to September.

Silk flowers are so common and so diverse nowadays that it is sometimes difficult to sketch a historical picture of their origins. However, it is important to know where silk flowers started their journey into mankind's heart to really understand why these flowers hold such an important place in modern décor. The word "silk" is actually a broad term for any artificial flower created using conditioned fabrics, silk or not.

Many believe that since the nomenclature of "silk" was added to these artificial flowers, these flowers were first developed in China following the technology of extracting silk from pupae of silk moths. The veracity of these claims is still not entirely confirmed, as the indigenous Chinese people did create a diverse amount of silk-based craft, one of which could have been the first silk flower.

Although artificial flowers have existed throughout history and include ancient Egyptian flowers made out of papyrus, the recorded period of silk flowers begins in the 18th to the 19th centuries when Europeans wished to preserve the fleeting beauty of real flowers. Paris, the birthplace of many art forms, is also believed to be the birthplace of the modern silk flower. The first flowers were either made of crepe paper or silk fabric. The tradition of folding crepe paper into flowers is still taught in many art and craft schools around the world, being easy to learn. However, it is, as all other craft, very difficult to master. The silk fabric could easily be folded into a flower that could retain its shape for a long period of time if done properly.

In the early 20th century a large amount of research was performed on polymers and polymer-products which would eventually revolutionize the flower world. Celluloid became a promising raw material for recreating exquisite blooms in the 1920's when Japanese craftsmen became very versatile in the art. However due to its flammable nature, celluloid was soon banned from common use. In its place foam and other products soon crept their way into the silk flower industry and colored foam sheets as thin as petals were to overshadow crepe paper flowers. A small segment of traditional artists still folded real silk flowers, but these were very expensive compared to the foam flowers. One would think a photographer with over six hundred flower pictures in his catalog would actually know something about flowers. Alas, this is not the case with me. I recognize common blooms, but I'm completely lost when it comes to anything exotic. I've thought a great deal about what it is that keeps me photographing flowers. After researching this article, I concluded people are attracted to flowers for many of the same reasons birds, butterflies, and moths are. It's all about seduction.

Just as in the animal kingdom, seduction is part of reproduction. Every species, whether plant or animal, tries to perpetuate its own kind. This is the most fundamental aspect of nature. Every species has the inherent right to exist. The endless cycle of birth, seduction, reproduction, and death provide we humans with our own survival. Without flowers, there is no food.

In addition to things like apples that begin as blooms, we eat actual flowers. Although you may not realize it, cauliflower, broccoli, and artichokes are all edible flowers. Flowers have been used as medicine for as long as there have been people. Even today, some flowers, roots, and leaves have pharmaceutical applications. Flowers have long been used to create perfumes, paints, dyes, and inks.

Flowers seduce, using a variety of methods. Each flower has a specific design that encourages the transfer of pollen. Form, color, scent, mimicry, and high calorie nectar are examples. Entomophilous flowers commonly have glands called nectaries that attract insects, bats, birds or other animals to transfer pollen from one flower to the next. If it's a nice calm day, and the flower isn't bobbing and weaving, I like to go with maximum depth of field. Maximum depth usually means longer exposure times, so movement must be considered.

Some blooms look better very close. In this case, you may wish to use the micro setting on your lens if you have one. If the micro setting isn't an option, use a short zoom lens. This will allow you to get in tight on an individual bloom. The 28-85mm zoom is my personal favorite, but I have tried every lens in the bag. I've even used my 500mm on a tripod. The effects will differ with every lens. Years ago, I often used a 200mm telephoto mounted on a bellows. This unusal arrangement allowed me to get in tight on a flower, while standing a few feet away. This effect can also be achieved by using an extension tube with a longer lens, and it's a great way to photograph butterfly's.

Regardless of what you're photographing, remember there are no absolute rules. Go with what works. It's almost always a good idea to avoid subjects that are strongly back lit. Some back lighting may be acceptable or even desirable. Too much back light will give a washed out look to the shot. Take shots at different distances, using different depth of field settings. Walk around the subject and look at it from all angles. I have a theory that nearly anything can make a good picture given the right perspective and lighting. This is especially true for flowers.

Strong back lighting can be overcome, by inserting a backdrop. A backdrop can be just about anything that will look good in the picture. A piece of matte black paper, or matting material, can produce dramatic results. A black background can effectively separate a particular flower from it's surroundings. A translucent white backdrop can soften and diffuse the light. Experiment with different combinations, that's how you learn.

If the subject is only slightly, and acceptably backlit, try using a flash to fill in the center. The built in flash on most SLR's is adjustable and nearly all detachable flashes can be adjusted. Add just enough light to fill in the middle. Bracketing is still a good idea. First, take a shot using the setting you think is correct.

Take at least two more shots using both more and less depth of field. I like to go up and down a full f-stop, in one half f-stop increments. If you have the option of shooting in the RAW format, I strongly encourage you to do so. With RAW, parameters are not fixed as they are with the more common JPEG format. The range of adjustment possible in RAW is far greater than with JPEG. Convert your finished result to JPEG for posterity.

The soft diffused light of a cloudy day, is a great for photographing flowers. Shadows are softer, and some colors become more vivid. After a rain, with the blooms dripping wet, is even better. Using the flash when it's cloudy can produce great results. The opposite condition is around noon on the longest days of the year. In my experience, this is the worst time for about any kind of outdoor photography. At mid-day the sun is at it's most vertical, and natural light is at its harshest. This is an especially bad problem when trying to capture subtle hues of a flower. Under exposure helps, and using an overhead screen works. In early summer or late spring, it's best to shoot just after sunrise, and just before sunset.

Watch the insects. Butterfly's and bees know exactly what they want. Let them be your guide. Let your eye be drawn where the flower wants it to go and remember the three basic rules - composition, composition and composition.

The roses are charming, but very sophisticated and pretentious flowers too. There are some tricks to prolong the rose's life:

· It would be good, if it's any possibility, to be conserved in a cold place, even the fridge, but not near the other products, for a few hours, after bought them.

Cut the stem at a very sharp angle under the water and than let the water to flow over the stems for 3 minutes.

Soften the base of the stem into mint oil before put in the vase.

· Add some lemon drops into flower's water or a little salt.
· Introduce the roses till flower in a tall and full of water vase than leave them in a dark cold place even for 24 hours.
· For bacteria to be destroyed, add a drop of disinfecting substance in flowers water.
· The roses need to stay in tall vases, filled with warm water.
· You have to change the water daily.

Tulip

The tulip's availability, as a cut flower, is from 8 to 10 days. The tulip doesn't bear the water privation and the warmth. For a better hydration, you need to cut the white base of the stem under the water and put it in a cold, without draught space, into cold and fresh water. This flower will not resist more than 4-5 days since the gather and that so under a good care. You have to put it in fresh and not very cold water as soon as you can.

Crocus

Flower Selection

The health of the flowers that you select for your arrangement is an important factor. If you start with flowers that are not healthy, you will end up with a droopy and unattractive arrangement. Key factors of healthy flowers are healthy foliage, unbroken stems and looking generally attractive.

Believe it or not, different flowers (and even different colors of the same flower) have different meanings. It is probably not appropriate to send your grandmother a flower arrangement made up of red roses and pink lilies; unless of course you want to let her know that you have a passionate, romantic love for her.

* Use more flowers than you need. The mother of a new born baby, fresh out of hospital, would probably not appreciate an enormous bouquet of roses.

How-to Create Flower Arrangements

Cut flowers are a wonderful way to bring the beauty indoors. As well as making nice bouquets of flowers, they smell good too. There are several flower bulbs that make very nice vases of flowers. Some examples include but are not limited to irises, gladiola, lilies, and daffodils. Flower arrangements make delightful bouquets for the office or for special occasions, such as baby showers or dinner parties. People love to treat their eyes to the sight of beautiful flowers, and anybody can create a nice flower arrangement.

To start you will need a vase half full with water and a pair of scissors. Then head out to the flower patch. When cutting the stems on flower bulbs, be sure to cut the stem at an angle. Also, the longer the stems are, the longer the blooms will last. One other thing to keep in mind while making cut flower arrangements is the colors of the flowers. Some colors can drastically change the affect of a flower arrangement.
For an arrangement that will be placed in front of a wall and viewed from three sides follow these easy steps.

1. Cut any leaves off that will be in the water if left. This will help keep the water from getting scummy.

2. Start by placing the tallest cut flowers in the vase first, facing the blooms toward you in a fan like position. They will be to the back of the bouquet.

3. Then in front and to the sides of the tallest flowers begin to place the next tallest flowers in the vase. The blooms in the center of the flower arrangement should be facing towards you. The blooms to the right side should be turned slightly to the right. Likewise, the blooms to the left side should be turned slightly to the left.

4. Continue in this fashion until you finish placing all but the shortest flowers in the arrangement.

5. Personally, I always place the shortest flowers close to the top rim or slightly above the vase rim. It seems to fill in and finish the flower arrangement.

If you find that flower arrangement is top heavy, just get a larger vase that holds enough water to support the weight of the flowers. To create a vase of flowers that will be a viewed from all sides is a little different from the above procedure. It works much better if the stems are about the same size. Also it will help if the vase opening is only slightly larger than all of the stems put together.

1. Start by placing the tallest cut flowers in the vase first, facing the blooms outward in all directions. They will be in the center of the flower arrangement.

2. Then all the way around the vase place the next tallest flowers until completed.

If the cut flowers that you have selected lack leaves and the flower arrangement looks a bit stemy, just add some. Just about any leafy plant will work. For example, you can easily add a couple leafy cutting from a bush. Just trim the leaves that will be in the water off.

Making a flower arrangement is that simple. Have fun, be creative, and enjoy the wonderful aroma.

You will often see roses all around the world simply because they are very easy to maintain and grow, as long as you keep the little chompers out of the way that eat the leaves, then you should be okay.

It never hurts to have a few helpful bugs to keep the little insecticides out of the way of your growth, because even little eaten leaves can lead to a dead plant in a matter of time.

Anyways, you never see rose flower paintings with eaten up leaves, it just doesn't happen. Overall, if your looking to purchase a flower painting, these are some great options to have. It's always nice to know what your looking for before you go out and buy something that you regret later.
